Hey, I just found out about the whole Nevada tan incident a few weeks ago, didn't realize there was such a large community already. I'm not an artist at all, so don't expect any oekaki from me. I have, however, done some of my own research: she's apparently scheduled to be released sometime in 2013, after she turns 20 (http://www.newcriminologist.com/article.asp?cid=128&nid=12). Also, some of the pictures I found claim that the girl she killed is elsewhere in the picture, please verify.
Also, just out of curiosity, is this really her?

Two-year anniversary is tomorrow. Japanese newspapers are dragging it up again for our edification. Yes, I am writing this at 3:40am.
Incidentally in this incident, the news of further postponing the stay in the juvenile institution are announced exactly 1 year from the beginning from the incident. Will that day be coming soon? ... According to institution personnel, she has said that "I have done a bad thing", but has failed to sympathize with the sadness of the bereaved family, and it is expected that recognizing the weight of her actions will take considerable time.
